A typical Newborn session like this can last up to 3 hours. The star of this show dictates the session!

Like any great show, the best seats (ahem—sessions) book up fast! The earlier you snag your spot, the better your chances of landing that perfect date and time—especially during busy seasons when the calendar starts to vanish.

Not totally sure of your schedule yet? No biggie! I’m pretty flexible with rescheduling and shifting things around if life throws a curveball. Just know that the closer we get, the tighter the dates become.

Good things take time—especially when it comes to magic. Turnaround time for your edited gallery depends on the session type and season, but typically you can expect to see your photos within 2–6 weeks.

Each image is lovingly hand-edited (no auto-filters here!) to make sure every smile, snuggle, and sparkle looks its absolute best. A little patience = a whole lot of photo goodness. Totally worth the wait—promise!

Think swoon-worthy albums, timeless prints, and wall art so good it deserves its own spotlight. These keepsakes are the perfect way to showcase your favorite moments and keep the magic of your session alive for years (and generations) to come.

Because let’s be honest—your memories weren’t made to live on a hard drive.

Don’t feel like your place needs to be spotless if we’re shooting there. Sure, put away phone chargers and animal bowls – maybe that basket of wash or dishes in the sink. But you still want your home to look lived in. Usually 1-3 rooms is a good amount to prepare – these will be your rooms with the most light (think bedroom, living room and backyard).

I’ll always keep an eye on the weather forecast in the lead up to your ‘shoot and keep in touch with any updates. Sometimes a little drizzle adds effect to what you’re going for – a moody look rocked by you and the conditions. We might be capturing from inside instead… Or you could want to reschedule and that’s so fine too. I’m flexible, and we’ll be in touch the whole time.

For outdoor sessions, the best times are when the sun is low to the horizon. Golden Hour in the evening or Blue Hour in the wee hours of the morning… If you are an early morning person and all about getting ready before the sun cracks the sky…then blue hour is for you! Also good is a few hours before Golden hour and a few after Blue hour.. You can see the times per your ideal date here.

If there are no other times that work, I can always find a location for a session, High noon, let’s do it!

Sure do. There are more days in the week than weekend… and those tend to fill up quickly, So let me know what is best for you!

When booking a photographer, offerings can vary widely—but I like to keep things simple, clear, and music-to-your-ears easy. Here’s what’s always included in every package when you work with me:

Travel & Accommodation: No road crew required—I handle all my own travel and accommodation when needed, and it’s already built into your package. I will scout your location at the time of your session to find the perfect spots and lighting. Day of, if we are outdoors, I’ll arrive early to scout the best spots again. When it’s showtime, I’m ready to capture every frame like a headlining act.

Editing Services: My editing style is all about that clean, true-to-you vibe—think “acoustic session,” not auto-tune. I believe less is more, all of your selected images will be professionally edited and fine-tuned to perfection, totally ready to share, print, or frame. And hey—if you’re wishing for a little extra editing magic, just let me know! If it’s within my power, I’m happy to make it happen.

Access to Albums: Your final images will be delivered in a private online gallery—easy to view, share, download, and ready for you to swoon over.

After all, these are your memories—let’s make sure they look exactly how you imagined (or even better).
